What We’re Watching
MEGAN : Your Friends & Neighbors (Apple TV) is the satirical soap opera you didn’t know you needed. Nine (one hour-ish) episodes follow Coop (Jon Hamm), a recently divorced dad that loses his job and his money as he tries to hold it all together by becoming the neighborhood burglar. Great show to watch with your spouse – we both laughed out loud.
CHRISTA : Remember Stacey and Clinton from What Not to Wear? They’re back with Wear Whatever the F You Want (Prime Video), where they encourage you to wear what feels true to you. The message is solid—be your authentic self. But between their awkward antics, nostalgic rambling, and the endlessly repeated question “Is this what YOU like?”, it felt like they were trying way too hard. Their chemistry was definitely off (maybe they never got over their fallout in 2013).
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : Back at it—shopping my closet again! Last summer is on the left; this summer on the right. Same fave blouse—loved it so much in green so I ordered the pink (Amazon, just $25!). I didn’t intend to recreate the EXACT look–guess I just love the jeans and sandals THAT much, too! My “Kelsey” Kut from the Kloth jeans are still going strong, and these Target slide sandals are back again this year. Moral of the story? Shop your closet—but if you need a go-to look, these pieces are total MVPs. Cost per wear on this outfit is basically pennies by now!

MEGAN : I’ve been wanting to try the full cotton skirt trend but was worried it would bring me back to my “prairie skirt” days from the 80s. To try the trend I went to Target and picked up this cutie. I wore the skirt with a tee shirt, my cropped trench and new fav sandals to lunch with the girls. Pro Tip: Size down one in the skirt, it’s full and has an elastic waist. I’m 5’1 and it hit me just above the ankles.

What We’re Loving
MEGAN : Are you going on a long flight the summer? I found the perfect travel outfit that will have you looking (and feeling!) great when you land. Best part, it’s a look for less. This Splendid sweat shirt, cropped pants and striped tee jumped out at me while at Nordstrom Rack. The Splendid set (comes in navy, pink and white) is a slightly lighter weight than the Frank & Eileen version, it’s also softer.
CHRISTA : Can’t stop with the summer sandals! This sandal by Sam Edelman is a fun and fresh summer pair with a little shimmer! Runs TTS. Both straps adjust to accommodate whatever width you need. More sandal picks here.
Random Stuff We Like
MEGAN : Aker Fassi aka Moroccan lip stain is an ancient beauty secret practiced by the Berber women in Morocco. My SIL generously brought me one after her recent trip to Marrakech. This stuff is wild! Made from pomegranate rinds, poppy flowers and rose petals, the mix is then dried into a clay pot. You wet your finger and swipe it in the dry green “paint” and then apply it to your lips. It uses the natural pH of your body to turn your lips (or cheeks) the prettiest pink. Not sure how legit but I did find some for sale in the US. I’ll link them below.
CHRISTA : Another stylish steal–this $22 skort is a spot-on dupe of the Farm Rio favorite without the splurge price. It’s a playful, on-trend piece that pairs perfectly with a black tee or tank and your go-to sandals or sneakers. (Or how about adding these raffia sandals by Sam Edelman!)
