Tis the season for the BEST of the FAVORITES. These are the items that you (and we!) loved the most last year. They were 2023’s most popular and useful items. Some were great deals, some made us look AND feel fabulous, a few for travel and entertaining (game night anyone?), music on the go, an organized drawer. Most of all each item served a role in improving our lives in a small way. Thank you for following along, shopping our links and always sharing the good stuff with us. #1 Organizers
It’s January, let’s start by organizing all that new stuff! We use these drawer organizers in our kitchens, bathrooms, pantries AND offices! They let you see what you’ve got and what you need to refresh. The “Ikea” moving bags are well known by college kids (and moms) everywhere, but they are also great for storing heavy comforters/sweaters/coats in the summer. Megan used them on her beach trip this year, packing a bag for each bed (sheets/comforter/towels).
#2 Electronics
This LITTLE (it is tiny) boom box fills the room with sound, holds a charge and is small enough to fit in your beach bag, golf bag, college dorm shelf. The quality of the sound is amazing — hard to believe it comes out of that little box. The Tozo headphones are the perfect price point for someone that loses their headphones often. Christa’s go to for reading is the Kindle Paperwhite, light, easy and always loaded with a new book or two.
#3 Accessories
Accessories, or the third piece as we like to call them around here, turn the most boring outfit into one that gets compliments in the grocery story. Megan loves this woven bag and Christa has this Michael Kors in more than one color. We wouldn’t be your friend if we weren’t recommending bling, check out this necklace and bracelet set to add a little metallic to your life.
#4 Beauty
Megan’s favorite category. From face oils to lipsticks and nail polishes (or press ons!). You can rely on us to do the hard work of suss-ing out the good stuff.
#5 Clothing
The Best of 2023 found us lounging in comfy jammies, relaxing by the pool in a stylish (looks good on ALL body types) strapless swim suit and bringing the sassy with a budget friendly and versatile slip skirt. But the number one most loved product of 2023 was the Cinq A Sept Holly jacket. She comes in lots of colors and is equally cute styled with jeans and tee or over a fancy slip dress. #6 Games
Let’s make monthly game night a thing in 2024. We hope your families enjoyed playing a few of them over the holidays — ours did! Perfect as a hostess gift, birthday gift or bring on a family vacation. Nothing brings JOY like a little competition.
#7 Pants and Denim
Vegan, pleather, faux — whatever you want to call these pants they are a winner. Dress them up or down they are often on sale at the GAP and look designer. P.S. You never, ever have to iron them! Christa’s go to pants this year were the Wit and Wisdom Ab-solution black pants. However, the staple of our wardrobes is denim and we each have our favorites (Christa (similar)/Megan).
#8 Home Decor
Christa’s eye for budget friendly home decor is the best. From brass bunnies at Easter to the perfect wreath for each season. Home decor is always a favorite. Keep your eyes peeled for more home decor coming to you this winter/early spring.
#9 Travel Gear
Let’s go! On a trip that is. Having the perfect carry on and make up bag makes traveling so much easier. And don’t even get us started on the packing cubes. These are our tried and true travel favorites and you all agree, moving them up on the “Best of 2023” list!
#10 Walk and Talk
It wouldn’t be a “Best of 2023” favorites without a few of your favorite walk and talk accessories. From shoes and leggings, socks and belt bags we are happy that you enjoy our walk and talks (and walk and talk gear) as much as we do. Now, call a friend and go for a walk to talk about all the favorites on the “Best of 2023” list!
