Need a little outfit inspiration? With the stores shifting to “pre-fall” clothes, we’re starting to get a little tired of our summer wardrobe, but it’s still too hot to wear those new sweaters! Today we thought we would share “what we really wore” over the last month to help give you a little inspiration. It’s all real life, no special occasions, just a peak at our every day #OOTD. We encourage you to dig into your closet, mix and match, and see what new outfits you can create to get you through the summer!
Full disclosure: We spend a lot of time shopping for, talking about and trying on clothes (all for blog research, of course!). We’re just like you, we have our favorite outfits that we wear on repeat. Honestly, some days we don’t get dressed until 3pm (or we do finally get dressed and the OOTD is just a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt!). We also buy and try a lot of things before we find the keepers. So if you struggle when you’re shopping, know you’re not alone!
And just so you know, it takes about 40+ selfies to get the one we decide to show you for each outfit!

The end of summer means it’s almost time for sweaters, boots and jeans! Meanwhile, here in Virginia we’ve got another month or two of shorts and sundresses.
