What We’re Watching
MEGAN : Looking for a good “couples show?” Check out The Agency (Paramount via Amazon Prime). My husband and I have been binging (and by binging I mean two episodes a night) The Agency. It’s set in current day, at the CIA headquarters in London. Interesting to watch the characters grapple with their personal issues while dealing with real world espionage, terrorism and crime. Kind of an insider’s peek for those of us not familiar with the spy world.
CHRISTA : If your holiday plans include staying cozy with some snacks and catching up on some great TV, here’s a peek at some of the top TV shows that premiered in December (in case you missed any of them). There’s some good stuff here! What’s on your watch list?
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : How I’ll be spending New Year’s Eve…PJs from Nordstrom, slippers from Target, and accessories from Amazon.

MEGAN : We met some friends for dinner a few days before Christmas. It wasn’t a fancy dinner, but since it was the holidays I didn’t want to wear my usual jeans uniform. I traded my jeans for these black pants, added pearls and switched my sneakers for boots. Voila! Weeknight fancy but still comfortable. Black pants that are comfortable make getting dressed at the last minute super easy. Pro tip: wide width available in the Chelsea Boot – very comfortable and under $50.

What We’re Shopping For
MEGAN : Not to rush the season, but do you have a good system for storing your holiday decorations? I purchased one of these boxes last year and I’m adding another this year. Keeps everything safe and easy to manage. And it’s SO MUCH easier when you’re just getting one or two things out of the attic.

CHRISTA : I shared these two weeks ago and didn’t want you to miss them–they’re a fantastic deal! Stretch your wardrobe budget in 2025 with a perfect pair of pants that will go with everything. These Kelsey pants from J.Crew Factory are a great everyday black pant; if you don’t believe me, check out the 345 five star reviews! Dress ’em up, dress ’em down. They fit tts (I’m 5’4″ and am wearing the regular, inseam 25 1/2″). And, best part, only $39! Also come in four other colors, and available in regular, petite and tall sizes.
Random Stuff We Like
MEGAN : Do you make a New Years resolutions? Powerful or pointless, check out this BBC article that shares the history of the tradition and some science behind why they actually might work. Here’s to new beginnings and fresh starts. Hmmm, maybe mine will be MORE walk and talks?
CHRISTA : Did you attend a favorite things party this year? If so, what did you bring? What was the favorite thing you received? Let us know in the comments so we can check it out and share it on the blog in 2025. Friends share the good stuff!
This year I brought this LOVE Stash It reusable bag to my annual party. I use mine every time I travel…for my pool bag, my beach bag, my extra bag for shopping. It fits in my crossbody bag for sightseeing and takes up no room in your suitcase. Comes in lots of cute patterns.
