What We’re Watching
MEGAN : The best description of Ransom Canyon (Netflix) is Yellowstone meets Friday Night Lights. If you are a fan of either of those shows (or Josh Duhamel!) this is for you. You’ve got cowboys, high school drama, a love story (or 3), an ex con that comes into town and has a big secret – there is a lot going on and the story weaves together well.
CHRISTA : Justin Hartley (from This is Us) stars as Colter Shaw in Tracker (2 seasons, on CBS and Paramount+). He’s a “rewardist,” searching for missing people to collect the reward money, and each episode finds him in a different location with a new case. I downloaded this last month for a long flight, and it’s a very binge-able show, perfect for travel and watching on your iPad. Not sure it’s winning any awards, but it’s fun to watch if you’re looking for a distraction from the news or your phone.
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : Sharing another summer favorite from last year that you won’t want to miss! This Tommy Bahama dress checks all the boxes: super comfy, travel-friendly (yes, it packs like a dream), washes great, comes with pockets, and hits that just-right length (for reference, I am 5’4″). It’s one of those easy pieces you’ll reach for all season long and pack on every vacation. Trust me on this one–I have it in three colors.

MEGAN : Wonder what to wear on these spring days when the temps range from 50-80? A cashmere tee shirt of course! Pair it with canvas pants, jeans or a slip skirt. It’s the perfect layer for these crazy weather days.

What We’re Loving (and Think You Might Too!)
MEGAN : Do you wear a hat to the beach? Or when you go for a walk and talk? The recent string of sunny days has me looking for a new straw hat. Nothing too big, or fancy or expensive. Here is a roundup of 6 super cute hats ALL UNDER $20. If you don’t have one – it makes reading at the beach a whole lot easier.
CHRISTA : I just got these new sandals for spring/summer. They’re a perfect fit in my regular size, and are a very comfortable 2 1/4″ heel height. They’ll work nicely with both dresses and pants. They come in 6 colors, under $100. Fit tip: if you have very narrow feet, these might be a little wide for you.

MEGAN : If you have not watched Conclave (Prime), an Academy Award winning political thriller about the process of electing a fictitious new Pope, now is the time.
CHRISTA : My 24-year-old son recently mentioned how much he loves the grooming products from Jack Black—but they’re a bit of a splurge for him (hint, hint, Mom!). If you’re looking for a gift idea for one of the guys in your life, check out the Jack Black gift sets. They start at $22 and are a great way to let them try out the brand.
