What We’re Watching
MEGAN : Next up on my quest to see all of the “Best Picture” Oscar nominees is Conclave. This thriller/mystery finds the Catholic church electing a new Pope. As the Cardinals gather and the process begins conspiracy and mystery shroud the election. The result and reveal will surprise you! We saw this one in the theater – but it would be just as good at home.
CHRISTA : Dark Winds (Netflix) was an unexpected discovery when we were looking for a new show to watch. Not sure how we missed this one! Set in 1971, a series of seemingly unrelated crimes unsettle the Navajo Nation, leading Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn on a gripping quest for the truth. If you enjoyed Yellowstone, Breaking Bad or Fargo, this is a must-watch. Two short six-episode seasons are available on Netflix, and Season 3 premieres March 9 on AMC/AMC+.
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : Spring is on my mind! After a snowstorm this week, I’m craving warmer days even more. I spent my snow day browsing and trying on some cute, colorful tops, and of course, Avara is my go-to for vibrant pieces. The top I’m wearing below was such a hit that it’s already sold out, but I’ve linked a few other gorgeous options from their latest collection (the first one is nearly identical!). Take a look and add a pop of fuchsia, chambray blue, spring green, or lemon yellow to brighten up your wardrobe and chase those winter blues away!
Fit tip: I 5’4″ and usually wear an 8-10, but in most of the Avara tops I size down to a size Small.

MEGAN : Lunch out during Valentines week called for leopard and a red sweater. I got the Alex Mill coat and am loving it. It goes with everything and really elevates a jeans and tee shirt outfit. Jeans and sweater currently on sale!
Fit tip: The Alex Mill coat runs BIG, size down one size. I’m in the medium.

What We’re Loving (and Think You Might Too!)
MEGAN : A quick trip to Target last weekend had me strolling through the clothes aisles. Target is having a moment right now! Check out some of the cute (and well priced) things I found. If you are a fan of the SPANX Air Essentials fabric check out the Sandwash collection under Target brand “A New Day”. They have a crew neck, zip up hoodie, shorts, pencil skirt and pants. Perfect outfit for apres walk and talk!
CHRISTA : A little Valentine treat for myself…new notecards. I love everything from the Joy Creative Shop, and they were my first stop when I needed to replenish my stationery drawer. I’ve linked some of the favorite things I’ve purchased from their Etsy store, including the notecards I just received. There’s also a matching notepad–the set would make a great gift!
These might just need some new postage stamps…look who has her own stamp coming March 29!
Random Stuff We Like
MEGAN : Have you tried the Libby app? Libby is a free app that connects you to your local library. Through your library card you get access to books, audibles and magazines for free. All you need is a library card and download the free app. Your device acts as an e-reader.
CHRISTA : Did Kendrick Lamar’s jeans win the Super Bowl? The post-game memes were awesome and provided a much-needed distraction from the usual news cycle in my social media feeds! How many of you were digging out your flares? (BTW, his are by Celine for only $1,300 if you’re looking.)
