It’s finally here! Prime Days 2023, Amazon’s biggest sale of the year, is July 11 and 12. This sale is HUGE, it’s only two days and it’s a complete frenzy of shopping — making it nearly impossible to cover everything all of you might be looking for! (We’re good at what we do, but maybe not that good!) Instead, to get you started, we’re sharing some of our favorite Amazon finds and purchases we love that we think you need, too. We also have lots of tips to help you navigate Amazon over their two day sale.

Prime Days 2023 Shopping Tips
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO GET STARTED?
You need to be a Prime Member to take full advantage of all the great deals during Amazon Prime Day. Prime members receive many other benefits, too – including free two-day shipping. If you have a new college student, Prime Student memberships are half price and include a free monthly Grubhub+ Student membership with unlimited free delivery.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SALE?
We don’t know what’s included in the sale until you do, making it especially hard to blog about it. We do know Prime Day is a great time to purchase electronics, stock up for your college student, upgrade your TV or get those fun finds we’ve been sharing on the blog (shower tabs, we’re looking at you!).
A FEW MORE TIPS
Here are a few shopping tips we gathered from some Google searches:
- Use the Smartphone App. The app will be the best way to get notified of new deals and Lightening Deals before they’re active. You can also add items to a “watch this deal” list to be notified.
- Try “Alexa, what are your deals?” for deals available exclusively via your Alexa device.
- “Join the Waitlist” on the website or app for Lightning Deals that have sold out. Buyers only have 15 minutes to check out for a lightening deal, so you’ll get an alert if you’re next in line. (Lightening Deals are only available for a few hours.)
- Invite Only Deals in 2023. Some items sell out quickly, so Amazon has added invite-only deals. Click the button to request an invite. If you’re selected, you’ll receive an email and app notification to purchase.
- Enable 1-click purchases to save you time checking out.

Megan’s Prime Days 2023 Picks
As exciting as Amazon Prime Days are, they kinda feel like a shot in the dark. This is a list of what I *hope* will be included, but the fact is we just don’t know until we know.
For entertaining and household we have a similar Marshall Speaker and it (literally) rocks. Regular price on these Air Pod dupes is $20, if they go on sale I’ll be buying them for everyone I know. They are amazing and when one inevitably goes missing I don’t have a complete breakdown. Stock up on these party LEDs for your teen and college kids, they are a vibe. And this Echo Show was the most popular item in our family holiday white elephant last year. We love ours.
My son just gave my husband this Blackstone for Father’s Day and IT IS AMAZING. Seriously, even if your man doesn’t like to cook, he will LOVE this. We made fried rice that rivaled Benihana. The ScanPan cookware is the best I’ve ever had. I treated myself after the kitchen reno and promptly threw all other pans out. No comparison. Fingers crossed this Yeti is on sale, with wheels is a must for this albatross. We have this table top ice maker in Easton and she cranks out the cold cubes, like every six minutes.
I’m holding out on ordering Georgi from the Shore’s beach chair. Fingers crossed it is part of Prime Day. Either way she’s coming home with me.
And for the ladies, my favorite NUXE oil, Londontown Nail Treatment in color “MILKY” and a new purse strap because mama deserves a little treat.

Christa’s Prime Days 2023 Picks
Amazon always has great deals on their electronics, so if you need a new Kindle or Echo product, Prime Days 2023 might be the day to buy one! Other electronics are usually discounted, too. I’m including a link to the Apple AirPod Max headphones (a great gift item for your teen).
You’ll want to check the prices on workout gear – you should be able to score some good deals. It’s a great time to stock up on our favorite CRZ Yoga leggings.
Household appliances are a good purchase for Prime Days. My Vitamix blender is one of my most used kitchen appliances. I’ve linked a few vacuums we love, including the Roomba we keep running daily in the basement (great if you have pets). The Bissel Pet Stain Eraser is also a must have if you have pets. And electric toothbrushes are always a good find in the sale. My husband uses this Waterpik, but I prefer the Sonicare. And, treat yourself to a foot massager – the whole family will love it! For some great deals on quality housewares, try the Amazon Basics brand.
With the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale also happening, I probably won’t be hitting up Amazon for clothing purchases, but a new pair of my favorite pajamas are on the list. If you’re looking for some great deals, check out the Amazon Essentials clothing.
