Something for Lookin’ Good // I work from home, so most days you’ll find me wearing one of these shirts by Tommy Bahama: Costa Vera half zip (this one is a lighter weight) and Tobago Bay half zip (a thicker fabric). They’re even great for most of my Zoom calls! I own more pairs of Kizik sneakers than I care to admit–these are so easy to put on (made to slide into without crushing the back) and they’re very comfortable. Finally, this is the best belt by Anson Belt & Buckle. The belt sizing can be customized and micro adjusted. (That’s really handy when you need to loosen that belt after a day of summer grilling.)

Something for Feelin’ Good // I travel a lot for work, so I love the convenience of this travel Waterpik cordless flosser. And when I get home from those trips, I love using this foot massager at night before I go to bed. (I think the foot massager may have been a Mother’s Day gift a few years ago, but it sits by MY chair in our room now!).

Something for Hanging Out // These swim trunks are by far my favorite, come in 17 patterns, and are on sale at Nordstrom, up to 66% off. And when I’m lounging by the pool, I enjoy the sound quality of the SONOS Move portable speaker. Sonos is the leader in whole house music. The Move is the most versatile and powerful outdoor/portable speaker in their line-up. It is also a Bluetooth speaker if you’re out of range for Wi-Fi. Plus, it responds to voice control through Amazon Alexa or Google.

Something for Working Out // This TRX training system is a game changer in our home gym. It’s the best full body workout with the least amount of equipment. I have a system that installs in the ceiling, but this one is a great solution to use anywhere.

Something to Worry Less // I love some good home automation/security, and this might be my favorite. I know Christa has shared this whole house water monitoring system before. I wanted to include it here because it really is one of the best things to give you peace of mind, especially when you’re away. (It would also be a great addition for a second/vacay home.) When any abnormal water usage is detected, it’ll shut your water off. You’ll get updates and alerts right on your phone.

Something to Relax More // For a refreshing beverage this summer, any dad will enjoy these FREEZE Cooling Pint Glasses or Cooling Wine Glasses to keep his drink ice cold. And if he’s a wine guy, this is definitely THE BEST wine decanter I have found (and I’ve tried many!). And finally, elevate his home bar with this ice bucket. It looks great and nothing melts (seriously, ice will be there the next morning!).

Barbie Hype // Dads everywhere will be excited to get on the Barbie train with the gift of a 32 oz. Black Angus Tomahawk Steak. Rub that baby all over with olive oil, salt, pepper and throw her on a hot Barbie. Cook ’til she has a warm inside. Pink, of course! (120 degrees max).

Cave Style // Immerse your father deeper into his dark cave of sensory titillation with a pair of Klipsch R-40-SA Dolby Atmos Speakers. Home movies of the kids will have him feeling like the little monkeys are climbing on the back of his neck. Pro tip: Mount the speakers high on the ceiling line angled toward Dad, natch.

Morning Wood // You know your man doesn’t know that you know he sucks at golf. Stroke his ego and confidence by gifting him a new, top of the line Qi10 Max driver or fairway wood by Taylor-made. At least he’ll feel like the Alpha dog on the way to the clubhouse. Pro tip: Attend Dad’s “club fitting” at the golf store and fill his backswing with peels of laughter.

Snowballs in June // Nothing says cool on a hot, humid day like a beautiful Snowball Virburnum tree. Get your dad outside, digging in the dirt on Father’s Day with this spectacular addition to your estate’s landscape. If he is resistant to yard work, add a Chinese Fringe Tree and tell him to man up. Moms don’t get a day off.

Hallux Valgus // Soothe the aching pain of your dad’s red-rimmed bunions with a pair of Brooks Ghost 16 road running shoes. He’ll feel like he is napping as he trots around town running errands for you. I guarantee he will wear these shoes stinky. Encourage him to put them outside with the farting dog.

Short Order // My sons gifted me a Blackstone grill last Father’s Day and had me gleefully cooking for them all summer long. Dad will feel like a pro whipping up stir fry, smashburgers, crab cakes and breakfast like he is on the line at Denny’s. Pro tip: Get the 36″ grill size and never order a crab cake at Denny’s.

Hells Angel // If you are hoping to shorten your Dad’s life span and get into that inheritance cash early gift him a Super 73-R Adventure series electric bike. With its overpowered engine your dad will be hitting curbs and cars before you know it. If you also seek the thrill of cuts, breaks, and bruises, get the extended seat so dad can ride bitch while you steer the death machine; wind and bugs in your hair. Freedom!

Samurai Gardener // Gift this handy tool to the green thumbed Dad. Surprisingly useful and looks intimidating and stylish gleaming in the sunlight on the hip of your garden warrior. Seriously, he could gut a deer with this weapon.

Barolo Bound // Plan a 10 day autumn vacation to the Piedmont of Italy with your man-amore. Stroll, hand in hand through the brick streets of the Old World. Stare lovingly into each others’ eyes over wide, fragrant glasses of Nebbiolo. Breathe in the history of Florence and relax in your private villa on the hilltop. Note: Mom’s will need several new outfits for this adventure.

Powerballin’ // Gift your dad a Lotto ticket and enjoy his immediate and ebullient joy of hope and optimism. It is unlikely you will be present when he balls up the ticket, grumbles and pitches it in the can without a single matching number. Unlike fatherhood, all the fun and none of the disappointment will be yours. And it’s a cheap thrill.
