It’s the Best of October 2023, already! Time seems to be moving at double speed lately. Hard to believe that November (which typically feels like the shortest month to me), is under way and we’ll be serving up turkey before you know it. It’s time, friends, let’s get our lists together and start that shopping. In fact, we like to use these “best of lists” to do our shopping. Heck, if it was your fave, or Christa or Megan’s favorite, then it must be the perfect gift for, well, anyone! Holiday jammies! Yay! Lots of new colors for the season at Nordstrom. These moonlight eco knit pajamas are my favorite and I can’t wait to get a holiday pair. The hard part is picking a color!
3 All the Little Raindrops: A Novel by Mia Sheridan
Best book I read this month! If you’re looking for a crime thriller (with a little romance) that’ll keep you reading more, you’ll love this one! Brand new — just released November 1. I snagged a copy early through Amazon First Reads, free with your prime membership.

5 WHBM Strappy Studded Mid-Heel Sandal
With the holidays around the corner, these metallic sandals are perfect! I bought mine in February 2022 and they are still my go to sandal when I get dressed up. They’re not too high, about 3″. Pair them with a wide leg trouser or your favorite holiday dress this season. Plus, they are actually comfortable — you’ll definitely be able to wear them until the end of the party! They run TTS, and also come in black and blush.

1 The Dazzler Mid-Rise Straight Jeans
Regular and petite (petite is called lil mother). The perfect transition from skinny jeans, no distressing and just stretchy enough but they don’t lose their shape. Wearing on repeat over here.
2 Quince Boatneck Cashmere Sweater
This cashmere sweater is the perfect thickness, not too bulky not too thin. I’m loving the navy blue with everything from a slip skirt to my new favorite jeans. Planning to wear it next with a white button down under it. Tis the season for layering.
3 Brooks Glycerin Walking/Running Shoes
Ok, so they aren’t the “cutest” but man are my feet happy about these new sneakers. I’ve been wearing them for about 4 weeks now and there was no break in period. Light weight and supportive.
My friend recently spotted this bag (and the larger cross body style) in the COS store in Zurich. You guys, it’s so good, I had a hard time deciding which size to get so I got both (giving one to friend!). The salesperson said they CANNOT keep them in stock in Europe, but guess what? The US has them online and in stock!
5 Britney Spears The Woman In Me
Ok, this is not going to win the Pulitzer but it was a great read (or listen!). From a pop culture perspective and a front row seat to this poor woman’s train wreck, it was fascinating. Sister is not afraid to spill the tea either. I bet there are a lot of PR folks working over time this week. On audible, Michelle Williams reads the book and she is so good. Worth the listen.
