It’s the Best of April 2024. Have you switched your closet to spring/summer yet? Every time we try to put our jackets and sweaters away, a 40 degree morning pops up. In the meantime, we’re wearing layers for the cool mornings and evenings and dreaming about flip flop season and the days we won’t need our jackets to walk and talk.
Have you subscribed to our weekly Walk & Talk (the Friday newsletter)? We share all the fun stuff we talked about on our walk that week. From shows to binge, recipes for the family, Amazon treasures, and lipsticks/nail polishes not to be missed. It’s the good stuff all rolled up into a ten minute read. Paired with a hot cappuccino or a diet coke, it’s the best way to kick start your weekend. If you aren’t receiving the Walk & Talk each Friday, subscribe here. Promise we won’t spam you.

The Readers’ Picks for April
We love seeing what all our readers’ are enjoying. Here are some of the top items you loved from the last month.
1 // Belgian Loafers, but with an Amazon price tag. If you’ve been stalking these babies in the pages of Town and Country we’ve found the perfectly priced starter pair. Oh and they are really comfortable and go with everything. Be still our preppy hearts.
2 // These were in Christa’s top 5 last month, now in your top 5! Keep your feet sandal ready all summer long with a weekly treatment of these moisturizing socks. Put them on while you’re getting ready, for about 20 minutes, and have the softest, smoothest feet. About $12 for a pack of six. Pro tip: These are a fun little extra to tuck in a gift bag for your friends!
3 // If you love a great sweater in the winter, try this cutie for the spring! Under $20, runs TTS. It’s a little shorter, but definitely not cropped, making it perfect for a front tuck.
4 // Something for the pups! In these rainy spring days, this is a must have for drying off your wet pooch after a romp in the yard. Also comes in a door mat, too.
5 // Christa’s new favorite top made her top 5 list, too–have you tried it? The eyelet fabric is lined, it runs TTS, and the poof sleeves are darling! No one will guess it’s from Amazon! So many colors, under $50.

Christa’s Picks for April
1 // I am not exaggerating when I say I wear this necklace ALL.THE.TIME! I like the thickness/weight of it, and the length is perfect with any blouse. (On my last two trips, it was the only necklace I packed!) It seems pricey at $88, but the cost per wear at this point is pennies. Pro tip: It goes in and out of stock on Social Threads, so sign up for notifications if it isn’t available. Or try this one or this one for a similar look.
2 // Just here to remind you one more time about this blouse! Amazon for the win on this one!
3 // If you need a tee (or had given up trying to find the perfect tee), then this one is for you. I’ve been signing the praises of this t-shirt from J.Jill for a year now and still love it. It’s a little looser, and a little thicker, so muffin tops don’t show. Runs big so size down.
4 // I’ve shared these sandals in several outfits this month, but wanted to make sure you didn’t miss them. It’s my first pair from Dolce Vita, and I LOVE them! They have a surprisingly comfortable 3″ heel and work with everything from jeans to dresses. I’m wearing the “Luggage Embossed Stella” color. Update: Since I started writing this post, I noticed stock on the sandals is running very low, so take a peek at these Dolce Vita sandals, equally adorable and just as versatile.
5 // My favorite lipstick shade is available in a gloss. Perfect for summer for extra hydration and a touch of color.

Megan’s Picks for April
1 // Ilia Complexion stick was purchased as a “new” product during the Sephora sale. After almost a month of using, the verdict is in: she’s a keeper. The finish is so natural and the stick formula makes it easy to use all over or as a concealer stick.
2 // Frank and Eileen Belfast (French Terry) Peacoat from our Spring Essentials is my April hero piece. The perfect layer for the movie theater, grocery store, cooler evenings or the airplane.
3 // Sometimes Instagram’s targeted ads are spot on. As a person on an eternal quest for “the perfect mascara” I’ve tried more of them than I’m willing to admit to. The Sweed Cloud Mascara checks all the boxes for me: comes in brown, individually coats each lash, doesn’t flake, is a “clean” product, is NOT tested on animals. I finally tossed the collection of rejects in my make up drawer. How’s that for commitment?
4 // Finally, it’s sandal season. I replaced my sad, worn out Birks with this new style. I love that they look a little more elevated than the Arizona style. The taupey pink is almost flesh colored and works with everything, even black linen pants.
5 // Spanish Sandals were another targeted Instagram Ad (Hi! I’m easily influenced.). And much to my achy feet’s bliss these sandals are my new favorite. I could easily go on vacation with only these wedge sandals and a pair of flip flops. They look great with jeans, dresses or shorts; the perfect height and the wedge makes them very comfortable. The footbed is extra cushy and my wide feet have plenty of room.
