Here’s a little style inspiration for your 4th of July (or all summer long)! I love a “one and done” outfit and these dresses are perfect for the festivities. (I have dress #4 in green, and it’s so easy breezy comfy for summer! And dress #5 would be a perfect pool coverup, too.)

Show your spirit with some fun accessories to capture the season, like a crossbody bag, the star necklace/earrings or this striped packable tote. (This tote packs into a small cube and is perfect to throw in your suitcase for your next beach trip.)

And don’t forget to bring a little of that patriotic theme to your home. Maybe some pennants, a fun pool float or a red tray for outdoor serving (also available in white and blue) are just what you need.

The 4th of July is a favorite holiday! My oldest son was born on the 3rd so we always have a big celebration. Hanging these buntings from the front porch gives the whole house a festive look. I love to see all the red white and blue! Usually my husband grills burgers during the long weekend. He serves them on these cute flag trays and I like to stick little flag picks in the burgers to give them a festive touch.

This year I’m filling the pool with these red, white and blue beach balls. I’ll use the gross grain ribbon to decorate vases and wreaths, it always comes in handy. The overall look is very patriotic and fun, kinda makes you want to burst into song… “Oh say can you see…”.

What I’m Wearing

As for what I’m wearing for the long weekend, I like to keep things red, white and blue of course! This J.Crew one piece is super flattering (I’ve had mine for years and it’s still in great shape) and I just picked up this blue and white beach poncho from J.Crew on sale. Paired with red slides and a straw hat (of course!), gives a fun hostess look for around the pool.

If a pool party isn’t on your agenda, this white shirt dress from Amazon is giving JCrew vibes and looks really patriotic with the red and white espadrilles. The blue straw bag from Target is new and looks so cute. Mine is on order! Throw in some shorts and my all time fav summer sweater and you are ready for any weather in your red white and blue.
