What We’re Watching
MEGAN : Back on the “rich people behaving badly” theme. We Were Liars is a YA novel adapted to an Amazon Prime TV series. Eight episodes, the show deals with teen relationships, actions and consequences, privilege and family dynamics. There is a mystery in the story with some twists and turns. I did not figure it out. If you are a fan of The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Perfect Couple, Friends and Neighbors and Sirens, you will enjoy this series.
CHRISTA : Central Intelligence: The Agency (Paramount+) is everything you love about a good spy thriller, including the all star cast of Michael Fassbender, Richard Gere and Jeffrey Wright. This is one you will want to binge in a weekend!
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : There’s a lot to love about your comfort zone—cozy routines, favorite outfits, knowing what to expect. But sometimes, comfort keeps us from discovering new things that could bring joy, energy, and a fresh sense of self. So here’s your nudge: try the purple pants or whatever it is that feels a little too bold or that you’re not sure you can pull off. (Spoiler: you can.) Your comfort zone will always be there—but the magic happens just beyond it.

MEGAN : All white and comfy shoes with a BIG purse for an in person trip to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I love an all white look in summer, it feels fresh. This top is a few years old from Sezanne but the Amazon budget version is just as cute!
Style Tip: If you are going with a monochromatic look add a pop of color, my purse and necklace add interest to this otherwise blank canvas. The texture in the blouse also adds dimension.

MEGAN : Here is my personal Nordstrom Anniversary Sale wish list, but after an in person visit to the store I’ve added a few things! The Caslon dupe of my favorite Frank and Eileen french terry “shacket” is a MUST and the colors are really good. I also found this Beyond Yoga jacket that is almost too cute to wear for a workout. My favorite find…the cream Caslon jacket! I ordered it online at midnight, and was so glad I did when I tried it on at the store. It’s going to be a perfect fall/winter/spring jacket! Comes in black, too. Fit tip: I sized down.

Mini Style Fix: Amazon Finds
This week….it’s all about Amazon! Have you found some good Prime Day deals?
MEGAN : Amazon has great cooking/kitchen gadgets and lots of them are on sale for the 2025 Prime Sale. These items are used daily in my kitchen. The mini flat bottom whisk is great for scrambling eggs and mixing up salad dressing or stirring those stubborn overnight oats. The silicon scoop/spatula is the perfect combo tool – if I could only have one kitchen gadget this would be it. I’m ordering a replacement pitcher for my Vitamix. The Philips Espresso maker was an investment my husband and I made on Prime Day two years ago and we love it. It’s been fantastic and worth every penny.

CHRISTA : Grab all three of these budget-friendly Amazon fashion finds for just $100—pair them with a few closet staples (think jeans, sandals, a white tee, and a crossbody), and you’ve got a mini-capsule wardrobe for your next weekend getaway!
Amazon clothing can definitely be hit or miss for quality, but I guarantee you’ll love all three of these–I own them and wear them on repeat (and they’ve been favorites of the blog readers, too). They wash well, run TTS, and look more expensive than they are. What more could you ask for? And a bonus item: this $14.99 necklace will go with everything; I wear mine all the time.
Style Tip: Find clothing brands you love from Amazon and stick with those to minimize returns. My favorites for fit and quality include PRETTYGARDEN, Anrabess, CRZ Yoga and BTFMB.

CHRISTA : This reusable grocery bag was one of the very first things I shared when we launched the blog—and three years later, the same bags still look brand new, even with tons of use! I’m a die-hard Scout bag fan (I have more than I care to admit), and this one is a favorite. If you need a sturdy, roomy, reusable grocery bag, this is it—includes both long and short handles, and it holds a ton.
