What We’re Watching
MEGAN : I have been in a TV watching funk since The White Lotus ended. Then, I found this article. Here are 10 suggestions for shows to watch if you are aimlessly surfing the channels like me. Send us the shows you and your Walk and Talk buddies are talking about – we need inspiration!
- Enlightenment (co written by Mike White!)
- Westworld
- Empire
- Big Little Lies
- Nine Perfect Strangers
- Succession
- The Perfect Couple
- Fleishman is in Trouble
- Industry
- Schitt’s Creek
CHRISTA : Hacks (season 4) is back! This might be one of my favorite shows ever, and season 4 finds us in the middle of a Deborah vs. Ava feud. I can’t wait to see how it plays out, although I must admit I miss the good ol’ days when they got along! Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder are comedy perfection, and if you’re not watching this show, you’re really missing out on some great TV!
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : Dress season is here, and this timeless favorite from Gibsonlook is back in stock in all sizes! A go-to for me last year—and still just as good—this classic style is one you’ll wear on repeat. With its flattering hidden drawstring waist and versatile design, it works whether you’re lounging poolside or heading off on your next getaway. Under $100 and true to size, it’s a smart buy that maximizes your budget since it won’t go out of style. A forever favorite you’ll reach for season after season!

MEGAN : I love a pop of green, especially in the spring when mother nature is showing off. Saw this cotton poplin top in COS, and I like that it can we worn tucked in or out. Paired it with these new H&M (summer weight) jeans. And this beaded necklace from Etsy has been a spring wardrobe star. She goes with everything. Pro tip: Size down one in the jeans, they run big and have a good amount of stretch in them.

What We’re Loving (and Think You Might Too!)
MEGAN : It’s time to update a few items on the pool deck. My inspiration came from watching the Masters Tournament last weekend. The clubhouse at Augusta National Country Club had these really cute green and white striped umbrellas. My backyard decor is yellow and white, lucky for me I found this umbrella that will be perfect between the chase lounges.

CHRISTA : I’m a huge fan of perfume samplers! I don’t have a signature scent, and I love trying new ones. I keep all my samples in a little dish/bowl like this one in my closet and pick one at random each day. If I don’t like it, no worries—I haven’t spent much and just toss it. This sampler is one of the best I’ve come across lately, with 30 different scents to choose from. And each sample lasts MUCH longer than you’d expect. Pro tip: This would make an amazing Mother’s Day or birthday gift, or even a treat for yourself since it’s only $35!

Random Stuff We Like
MEGAN : Are you a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup fan like me? I’ve been making these high protein no added sugar treats and they are SO GOOD. Perfect “healthy” treat for the Easter baskets. Pro tip: I use all natural peanut butter (Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods 365 brand are both good) and Lily’s no sugar added milk chocolate chips. Would also be great with Lily’s semi sweet or dark chocolate chips. Enjoy!

Equipment
- 1 freezer
- 1 cook top or microwave
Ingredients
- 24 pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 bag chocolate chips (milk, semisweet or dark all work)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
Instructions
- Lay your dates out on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper, cut a slit down the middle and lay them open
- In a small bowl mix the peanut butter and protein powder until well combined, add a little water if your peanut butter isn't oily enought
- Using a teaspoon, stuff each date with the peanut butter mixture and pinch closed
- Put in freezer for 10 min
- While the dates/peanut butter are freezing bring a pot of water to boil
- Dump the 1/2 bag of chocolate chips in a glass pyrex bowl with the tablespoon of coconut oil and stir to melt
- Once the chocolate has melted bring the dates out of freezer and dip each one into the chocolate - you can only do the tops or dip the whole thing
- Sprinkle crushed peanuts on tops or sea salt
- Put the tray back in the freezer for an additional 10 min
- Eat and enjoy!
Notes
CHRISTA : My mom loves decorating for every holiday, but hauling bins of decorations up from the basement has gotten tougher over the years. So last year, I gave her a set of seasonal garden flags—one for each month—to add a festive touch without all the effort. She absolutely loves how simple it is to swap them out, and it helps her keep the holiday spirit alive without feeling like she has to give anything up. You can get a full set of 12 (one for each month) or just grab a few to cover the seasons. Pro tip: grab the pack of pants hangers, too—they’re perfect for storing the flags neatly. My mom keeps hers in her entryway closet.
