What inspires you to get dressed every day?
We get our inspiration from all sorts of places. Maybe we saw a cool outfit on a friend or came across a fun style / color combo in a magazine. Sometimes, a cute mannequin in a store window can spark an idea, too! Do you browse Pinterest for outfit ideas? We do! There’s something refreshing about breaking out of the leggings routine and putting together a look that reflects our personalities. Getting dressed in an intentional outfit kinda makes a girl feel good!
It’s all about celebrating who we are and enjoying the little thrill of getting dressed (almost) every day.

What We’re Watching
MEGAN : She’s back! Netflix just released the second half of season four, Emily in Paris (Netflix). Just as good as the first half of the season; in the latest episodes Emily meets her first villain, goes to Rome and has a new love interest. Enjoy!
CHRISTA : Ignore that this premiered in 2001! If you haven’t seen Six Feet Under (HBO, Netflix), this should be your next binge. See how the Fisher family manages life and death and everything in between after their father unexpectedly passes away and leaves them the family business–a funeral home. No spoilers here…but this series has THE BEST series finale of any show EVER (others agree), so you need to watch until the very end.
What We’re Wearing
CHRISTA : Just getting ready for Fall walk and talks. The Seasoft hoodie from Athleta is so light and soft. I’ll take one in every color! I also love these new Kizik’s sneakers–easy slip on style, no laces to tie, perfect for errands and dog walks.

MEGAN : Picked a friend up at the airport this week and we grabbed brunch on the patio. Casual and comfortable is the name of my game.

What We’re Shopping For
MEGAN : I was trolling the sale rack at Anthropologie last week and the saleswoman had on the cutest outfit. She was wearing leopard jeans with an oversized light blue button down and black sandals. Cute, chic, trendy yet age appropriate. I immediately googled “leopard jeans” and here is what I found. One of these cuties is on her way to me, I’ll let you know if it’s a hit or miss.
CHRISTA : If you’re hosting Thanksgiving (or lucky enough to be the invited guest), I found your dress! Plus, here’s a few other finds perfect for you or your hostess. All from Nordstrom.

Something New from Nordstrom (and under $100)
CHRISTA : Not sure if I am late to the game, but just found this brand, Brave+True, at Nordstrom. They have really nice, very affordable pieces like sweaters pants, skirts ad dresses (like the one above). Together they make a great capsule wardrobe because everything just goes. This sweater is perfect for fall with some olive green pants, and then again in the spring with your white jeans.
MEGAN : While perusing the workout wear at Nordstrom recently I discovered this long sleeve cotton top and she is a GEM. I now have this top in two colors, it’s cotton so not the best for exercise, however it’s really great for lounge wear. Size down one, runs big. It’s long (especially on me 5’1), but I like that when I wear it with leggings it covers the old camel toe. Ya know?
What We Found on Amazon
CHRISTA : One of the most used products in my hair care arsenal these days. This dry shampoo works wonders! Everyones hair is different andneeds different products. I generally have fine hair and it’s generally oily, and this works for me. If you’re unhappy with your current product, give this one a try.
MEGAN : Ever heard of a Snackle Box? My girlfriends and I recently went to an outdoor concert and we each brought something to share. It’s portable, easy to clean (would be perfect for road trips!), has eight separate containers and travels in it’s own serving dish – with handles! Under $10
Random Stuff We Like
MEGAN : Has anyone else noticed that bag charms are trending again? Is this a sign of a quiet luxury movement or are we all just into keychains right now? The editors at WWW have an opinion.
CHRISTA : A new leading lady unveiled for season 4 of Bridgerton. Get the scoop on this new character here, from Shondaland.
What You Loved This Week
You all are shopping for fall wreathes, cute tops (this one is one sale!) and lighter wash denim. We love these KUT jeans with the cropped kick flair. Don’t snooze on this neutral wreath, it’s 30% off.
