Creative Ways to Gift Wine
A trip to the Dollar Spot in Target, and a quick walk around the store, and we had everything we needed for all 8 of these fun ideas!
Voila! Gifts for every hostess this season. There are so many creative and simple ways to gift wine.
Stockings + Wine
A stocking for him, a stocking for her – your host and hostess will love receiving this thoughtful gift. Fill the stockings with yummy treats. Decadent chocolates + your favorite wine is a perfect pairing.
What you need:
- Two mini stockings (ours are from Target for $3 each)
- An assortment of chocolates
- Sprigs of rosemary or pine
- Candy canes
Tea Towel + Wine
A tea towel for the hostess with the mostest. Paired with your favorite wine and your host will be happy to have the towel long after the wine is gone.
What you need:
- tea towel
- ribbon
- a sprig or two of rosemary from the garden (or the grocery department)
- an ornament – we chose one that looked like a tag
Socks + Wine
Put a sock on it! Nothing says Christmas like a pair of fuzzy Santa socks.
What you need:
- Fuzzy Santa (or reindeer, snowflake etc) socks from the holiday section at Target.
- We stuffed the second sock in the “hat”.
Ornament + Wine
Tie one on! An ornament that is. Keeping it super simple with an ornament. We chose one with the year so your host will always remember what a great party they had.

Candy + Wine
A simple treat and something sweet. Nothing pairs better than wine and your favorite chocolate.
What you need:
- a bag of your favorite (or seasonal) candies
- We punched two holes in the bag and wrapped the ribbon through.

Flowers + Wine
A flower crown and wine for the holiday hostess queen! Once the party is over your holiday hostess can pop the flowers in a bowl or any vessel and enjoy the arrangement through the holidays.
What you need:
- wet floral foam
- a bouquet of grocery store flowers (we used two from Trader Joes)
Tree + Wine
This simple wine topper (from the Target dollar bin) is just glued on to the top of the wine bottle. We wrapped a bow around it to hide the glue mess.

- Tree figurine

Tulle + Wine
For the Girl’s Night hostess this super feminine ornament and tulle will be perfect. We cut the snowflakes off an old garland we had and attached them to a tulle ribbon to give this wine a snow princess vibe.
